Finca El Primo - Honduras - Coffee Beans

Amounts250 gram, 1000 gram

Finca El Primo sits at 1,600 meters above sea level in the mountains of Santa Bárbara, Honduras. The farm is managed by Nahun Fernández Sabillón, who took over the family business at a young age. What began as his father’s work has since grown into a 10-hectare specialty coffee farm, where Nahun collaborates closely with his family and a dedicated team of workers.

At Finca El Primo, varieties such as Catuai, Parainema, and Bourbon are cultivated, alongside others including Geisha, Typica, and Sidra. The farm is surrounded by banana, peach, and plum trees that provide natural shade for the coffee plants.

Nahun carefully applies both Honey and Washed processes. The ripe cherries are handpicked, meticulously selected, and undergo controlled fermentation before being slowly dried on raised beds. Thanks to the altitude and fertile soils, the coffees develop a remarkably clean and complex character.

Coffees from Finca El Primo are sweet, fresh, and elegant, with floral and fruity notes that are characteristic of the Santa Bárbara microclimate.

We prefer this coffee to be brewed as a filter coffee.

For Filter we suggest the following recipe:
  • In: 16
  • Out: 230
  • C° 89
  • 2'' 35'
