This organic Colombian decaf is produced by small-scale farmers in mountainous regions. The Sugarcane process removes caffeine without the use of chemical solvents, preserving the coffee’s natural flavors.
The process begins by soaking green beans in water, which draws out both caffeine and flavor compounds. This liquid, now called Green Coffee Extract (GCE), is filtered to remove only the caffeine. Because the GCE is already saturated with flavor compounds, when a new batch of beans is added, only the caffeine molecules are absorbed, while the flavors remain intact.
After a fully washed process and sun-drying on raised beds, this coffee delivers a clean and complex cup.
